W.T.B. told me years ago that Kao gave the Museum quantities of landshells in return for C.R.Bishop's helping him through the Kamehameha School. Kao did a lot of collecting with Olson, the first principal of Kamehameha School in the late 80's or early 90's. C.M.C. Jr. 28 Feb 1938
